Three Easy Ways to Begin Using EXACTER.
1. The Starter Program – Improve Your Worst-Performing Circuits
in Just 3 Months!
For most utilities, a significant percentage of all problems are located over a number of specific poor-performing distribution circuits. Many utilities begin an EXACTER deployment by targeting these circuits for survey. In most cases, two months are spent gathering and analyzing data that identify problem sources. Afterward, work orders are created, and the final month is spent doing targeted, preventive maintenance. Final EXACTER surveys are then conducted that allow you to actually measure the impact you’ve made.
Deployment is easy. EXACTER units are mounted in utility vehicles and as they move, readings are taken. There is no training required.
In every EXACTER deployment, failure signatures have been reduced. Our utility customers have improved their SAIFI indices by employing EXACTER as part of their reliability program.
2. The EXACTER Turnkey Program – We Deploy the Vehicles, Measure Your
System, Provide Reports, Establish Work Orders, and Perform Repairs.
With limited time and manpower resources, some utilities have found it beneficial to begin their program by having Exacter, Inc. handle all (or most of) the process. The Turnkey Program allows you to reap the benefits of EXACTER without expending any resources.
A flat fee is established for circuit surveying over a specific time period. Price associated with field analysis and creation of work orders is charged on a per-item basis. If Exacter does the repair work, quotations will be done on a per-project basis.
3. SAIFI Reduction Programs – Strategic Deployment of EXACTER Across
Your Entire Network.
Why limit SAIFI reduction to just certain circuits, when you can create sustained reliability improvement across your entire network?
Exacter, Inc. will work with you to develop a network-wide deployment of the EXACTER System. Once in the field, you will have the information that tells you where your next outages will take place before they occur. You will have weekly snapshots that provide an overview of the health of your distribution system assets, and most importantly, you will have the ability to manage sustained improvement and SAIFI reduction across your entire distribution network
