Transmission

Using aerial flight platforms, Exacter® technology precisely identifies and maps failing hardware and contamination points along electric transmission lines. Distribution

Vision Analytics is a predictive process designed to improve overhead distribution system performance and reliability. Vision Analytics identifies where equipment related outages occur, and the betterment a utility can achieve with an Exacter assessment and the appropriate utility maintenance operations.  This is a great tool for managing continuous improvement of overhead distribution assets.

Substation

This unique assessment from Exacter® integrates RF partial discharge (PD) and ultrasonic technology to analyze, detect, and identify equipment conditions that threaten substation operations. When a component begins to deteriorate, partial discharge in the form of current leakage, arcing, or tracking occurs. In almost all cases there will not be a heat signature or a visual indication of the condition. Exacter technology filters out the signal noise and interference in the substation to pinpoint the exact component emitting the invisible pre-fail signature. Reports of problematic equipment are delivered immediately. Pricing for this Exacter service is based on the number and size of the substations being assessed.
